2013 Predictions!

AHHHHHHGAAMMEEEZZSSZSSSLast year, I put together a list of what I thought my Games of the Year might look like for 2012. Here you go:

1. Mass Effect 3
2. Bioshock Infinite
3. Far Cry 3
4. Tomb Raider
5. Metal Gear Rising
6. The Witcher 2
7. Borderlands 2

As you can see, it’s a little different than how it actually turned out. Only two of the games on this list actually ended up on my top ten this year. Mass Effect 3 and Borderlands 2 were on there, but Mass Effect was #10, not #1. Borderlands wasn’t too far off though, it moved from #7 on this list, to #9 on the actual one. Three of my most anticipated games on this list ended up not even making it out in 2012!

So these lists are pretty fun to look back on and see what might have been going on in my head a year ago. Let’s do it again, right here, right now.

Predictions for what might be (but probably won’t at all be) my top ten games of 2013.

#1 – Bioshock Infinite
#2 – The Last of Us
#3 – Beyond: Two Souls
#4 – The Witness
#5 – Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
#6 – Tomb Raider
#7 – Dead Space 3
#8 – Pikmin 3
#9 – Rayman Legends
#10 – Bayonetta 2
(#11 – Antichamber)

Here are a few others that I’m interested in:

Aliens: Colonial Marines
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Deadpool
Devil’s Third
Fuse
Grand Theft Auto V
watch_dogs
Injustice: Gods Among Us
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon
South Park: The Stick of Truth
Tales of Xillia
DayZ
Mew-Genics
Bit.Trip Runner 2
New Game+
Among The Sleep
Super T.I.M.E. Force
Spy Party
The Intruder (Looks INCREDIBLE so far, seriously, go look it up.)
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (A remake of one of my favorite games ever!)
Dark Souls 2 (Probably not 2013, but I can dream!)

There’s already a ton of games I want that are due for a release this year, and I’m ready to be surprised by a ton of stuff I’d never even heard of before like most of 2012. Tons of games, and probably a new console or two. Guys, this year is going to be super exciting.
