If you’ve ever asked me about iOS games, I probably mentioned Tilt to Live about five times before the conversation ended. Up there with Super Hexagon in terms of the hours I’ve dumped into it, the first Tilt to Live was an early beacon of what the App Store was capable of showcasing. It’s an insanely frantic high-score chasing frenzy, and it’s the closest we’ve come to seeing a new Geometry Wars since…well, Geometry Wars. (more…)

iPlay’d: Year Walk
Year Walk is the third game from popular iOS developer Simogo, following up their last critically acclaimed hit, Beat Sneak Bandit. It starts off on the right foot, setting an undeniably ominous tone, prompting your mind to wonder where this little game is going to take you. The App Store description promises a “haunting” and “creepy” experience, and after coming out the other side, I can assure you that it delivers in spades. (more…)
